CR1 Core Line Card Failure / Fallo en tarjeta de Switch Core
Resolved - Please notice that the linecard in question has been been replaced by a new linecard at 12:49pm CST-6 , we have been monitoring traffic on the line card and all is working normally, we consider this issue as resolved.

Porfavor notar que la tarjeta del switch en cuestión fue reemplazada por una nueva tarjeta a las 12:49om CST-6, hemos estado monitoreando el trafico en dicha tarjeta desde ese momento sin ningun problema o inconveniente, consideramos este evento como resuelto.

Monitoring - At 10:21 AM CST-6, the CR1 data center in San Pedro experienced a line card failure in one of our main core switches (Juniper EX9208). This issue resulted in a sudden drop of traffic from three major providers, causing all traffic to reroute through our alternate core switch. This switch-over led to some BGP session drops, which may have caused brief disruptions for some clients, lasting between 4 to 6 minutes in certain cases.

We are currently coordinating the replacement of the faulty line card with new spare parts available on site. We will update you through this channel regarding the scheduled maintenance and any potential impact it may have on traffic at the CR1 Data Center.

A las 10:21 AM CST-6, el centro de datos CR1 en San Pedro experimentó una falla en una tarjeta de línea en uno de nuestros switches principales (Juniper EX9208). Este problema provocó una interrupción repentina del tráfico de tres proveedores principales, lo que hizo que todo el tráfico se redirigiera a nuestro switch central alternativo. Este cambio ocasionó la caída de algunas sesiones BGP, lo que pudo haber causado breves interrupciones para algunos clientes, con una duración de entre 4 a 6 minutos en ciertos casos.

Actualmente estamos coordinando la sustitución de la tarjeta de línea defectuosa con piezas de repuesto disponibles en el sitio. Les informaremos a través de este canal sobre el mantenimiento programado y cualquier impacto potencial que pueda tener en el tráfico del centro de datos CR1.
